ROY ROGER'S PRAYER
Lord, I reckon I'm not much just by myself,
I fail to do a lot of the things I ought to do.
But, Lord, when trails are steep and passes high,
Help me ride it straight the whole way through.
And when in the falling dusk I get that final call,
I do not care how many flowers they send,
Above all else, the happiest trail would be
For YOU to say to me, "Let's Ride, My Friend."
~Amen~

To Our Friend Did you know how much you affected our lives with that big ole smile? And how when you drove up and jumped out of your truck, How glad we were to see you and talk to you for a while? Did you know what a special person you were to everyone you met? How funny the things you said, and how much they meant And that you are a friend that we could never ever forget? Did you know that you were admired and looked up to by young and old alike? That even our children loved you and thought you were so cool, Do you know that I will miss you and will say a prayer for you tonight? Did you know that I pleaded and begged the Lord to please not take you away? That you were way too young to die And that I wanted to see you and talk to you just one more day? Did you know that your friends and family feel they just can’t go on? We want you with us here so badly That we can’t accept that the Lord has taken you home? Did you know your momma and daddy were so proud of their son? That your sister and brother loved you so much And this battle they wish that you had won? Did you know how important it was for us to let everyone know? Just how special you were to your friends and family And how it hurts us so much to consider letting you go? Do you know we’ll be looking for you when that bright light starts glowing? When we see those gates of pearl and streets of gold We’ll run to meet you shouting, “We’ve missed you so much Joey” In Loving Memory of our Friend Joey Jackson-Stanley and Jamie Hall
